This trail is the perfect backdrop for your next scenic hike whether you're experienced or a beginner! At just under five miles, this trail features a tight single track, bridges of varying sizes, some small climbs. This trail connects with two other watershed trails, Owl's Roost and Reedy Fork, for more continuous hikes. Put all three together, and you have a great long distance hike!<br />
This is a multi-use trail, so beware of bikers!
From I-85 take 220 North (Battleground Ave). After 10 miles on Battleground, turn right on Owls Roost Road. Look for parking lot on left at Bur-Mill park. Ride down to the paved Greenway, turn right on the Greenway past the Owls Roost trail head, continue past and over the bridge over the lake. The trail head will be on the left.
